Heavily built on an aggressive deep-V hull with a wide 9'6" beam, the 280s solid package of hardcore fishing amenitiestogether with good range and equally good turn of speedplaced her in the leading ranks of under 30-foot sportfishing boats. Notably, she was offered with a choice of straight inboard or jackshaft/sterndrive power. Features include an integral bow pulpit, two in-deck fish boxes, folding rear seat, aft-facing cockpit seat, twin transom livewells/fish boxes, cockpit rod storage, fresh/raw-water washdowns, trim tabs, gas-assist engine hatch lift, locking cabin rod storage, cockpit bolsters, and gunnel rod holders.
